The Laguna Niguel Little League Challenger Division is a distinctive and inclusive program aimed at offering children with physical and developmental disabilities the chance to experience the joy of playing baseball. As a segment of the broader Laguna Niguel Little League organization, this division seeks to make the sport accessible and enjoyable for every child in the community.

Team Play: Participants are grouped into teams, allowing them to experience the camaraderie and sportsmanship associated with team play. Our Challenger teams compete against other Challenger teams from nearby Little Leagues.
Modified Play: The games are tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of participants, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Typically, games last an hour and consist of 1 to 2 innings. Every player participates in defense and bats each inning.
Volunteers: The program depends on committed volunteers who serve as buddies for players, offering support, encouragement, and necessary assistance.
Positive Environment: The focus is on providing a safe environment, having fun and creating a positive and accepting atmosphere where each child is celebrated for their individual strengths.
Practice and Play: The Challenger Division practices once a week and holds games on Saturdays.
