AA DIVISION
They are ready for the big time now! AA is the first competitive division in Little League, designed for league age 8-10 year old children. Players attend a player evaluation and teams are formed based on a draft (Spring season only). Player evaluations determine whether or not a player is ready to move up a division and help to create more balanced teams.
Rosters are composed of 12 players, the diamond is 60 feet, and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Blue Book rules will be followed. Minimum playing time rules are enforced. Scores and standings are kept throughout the season, ending with a playoff tournament to determine the division champions who will then represent LNLL in the District Tournament of Champions. Some players will be eligible to play on a LNLL All-Star team if selected.
